Success for many salespeople is defined by closing the big deal, but not for Chad Dykstra, Sani-Matic’s Director of Sales for Food and Beverage. For Chad, it is building a relationship and finding the best solution.
Chad Dykstra arrived at Sani-Matic 17 years ago as a mechanical drafter, quickly advancing to a systems designer and then a project manager. In 2002, Chad was presented with the opportunity to emerge from behind his blueprints and join the Sani-Matic Sales Team. “I wasn’t sure about leaving engineering,” admits Chad, “but I saw it as a way to grow.”
His technical background became a valuable asset in the field. “As a designer, I liked the challenge of finding a solution. My philosophy as a salesperson is the same,” Chad says. “I enjoy learning about our customers, building a relationship, and finding a solution that meets their needs.”
