Ultra-Flow Clean-In-Place (CIP) Systems
Portable Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems for the Bio-Pharm Industry
The patented Sani-Matic Ultra-Flow CIP is a self-contained, portable CIP system that is easily programmed to accommodate a wide variety of single-use, recirculated CIP applications. Designed for highly critical cleaning situations, the Ultra-Flow can supply a wide range of CIP rates and pressures while meeting cGMP and ASME-BPE standards.
In contrast to a conventional CIP system - which must maintain a significant quantity of water in the supply tank to prevent pump cavitation - the Ultra-Flow needs a mere 6 gallons of water to maintain satisfactory head pressure. The eductor return system draws solutions back to the system without the need for a return pump and separates air from the washing and rinsing solutions.
The ideal solution for:
- Installations with limited floor space
- Facilities with limited water and drain utilities
- Process vessels with low and/or small outlets
- Plants without permanent supply and return lines
- Replacement of existing or outdated CIP systems
Ultra-Flow CIP Applications include:
Injectable Liquids/Potent Compounds/API’s/Solid Dosage/Creams/Lotions/ OTC’s
Ultra-Flow CIP Equipment cleaned:
Bioreactors/Fermenters/Buffers/MediaTanks/IBC’s/Fillers/Mixers/Coaters/Spray Dryers/Transfer Lines

Ultra-Flow Clean-In-Place (CIP) Features
Portable Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems for the Bio-Pharm Industry
Sani-Matic Ultra-Flow Clean-In-Place (CIP) Systems offer a compact, space-saving, portable design (72”L x 33”W x 72”H) for your CIP needs by eliminating the need for return pumps and a large surge tank. Operating within a wide range of 0 – 100 gpm at 60 psig, the Sani-Matic Ultra-Flow reduces water and chemical usage as well as cycle time. Heat-up times are minimized with either electric or steam heating options available. The Ultra-Flow uses clean water for each cycle to eliminate cross contamination and provide the Cleaning Confidence that you expect from Sani-Matic.
Ultra-Flow Utility Requirements
- Instrument Air – ½” NPT, 10 - 20 scfm @ 95 psig
- Water Supply – two 1” tri-clamps, WFI , DI, potable and < 10 GPM @ 25 psig
- Drain – 1½” tri-clamp, variable to meet application
- Dry Weight (approx.) – 1000 lbs
- Plant Steam – 1” NPT, 540 lbs/hr @ 50 psig
- Electrical Power (with electric heater) – 50 amps @ 460 VAC, 3 Ph, 60 Hz
- Electrical Power (with steam heat) – 27 amps @ 460 VAC, 3 Ph, 60 Hz
- CIP Supply – 2” tri-clamp, 0 - 100 GPM @ 60 psig
- CIP Return – 2” - 3” tri-clamp, 0 - 100 GPM @ 60 psig
